They even dredged up the that old "fouggie" Ronan Collins to report on the .... weight lifting! But overall, most in the know will tell you how RTE has operated for years. Nepetism is rife and people are hired because of who they know and not because of talent. The same old "dinosaurs" are still there and unless you can say "rindabite", you've little hope of presenting anything of substance, if there be such a thing. Oh I couldn't be bothered. Pity the constitution does place such a restriction on the number of Ministries. Maybe the upper limit should be changed as things have changed since 1937. Although this could indeed be altered by constitutional referrendum. I personally think the people of Ireland would approve a cabinet ministry for the Communications and Technology post. This is too important to have lumped in with Energy and Natural Resources in my opinion, and far more important to have the Greens looking after it. Well spotted Stephen.
