Diarmaid Ó Conchubhair is who I say I am. I’m the guy people always want to be. Women love me, men want to be me….ah, who’m I kidding? I’m a simple and complicated man, with deep and dividing views on politics, the state of the nation, women and the future of our lovely country.

Why am I doing this? Well, Wil Wheaton (see wilwheaton.net) inspired me to blog. He too has a story. But he’s more a blogging guru than I so I rest at his feet in mercy.

The main reason I’m doing this is to allow myself to look back at what I used to be like. I’ve changed a lot from the boy who grew up in Western Europe and who left the town that gave him the strength to do better. Keep watching!
