Apple launched its new variant of the OS-Ten series, dubbed ‘Leopard’ on Tuesday. Amid a flurry of net activity from the moment the Apple Store went into ‘Back soon’ mode, rumors abounded that Leopard was being added to the fold. Indeed it was, and the moment I’ve been waiting for since first hearing about the new OS last year finally came. Late on Tuesday evening, I splurged. I admit it, I have a problem. But I did take advantage of the small reduction in price through the Apple Education store.

Nevertheless, on October 26th my fingers will be busily refreshing the ‘Track Shipment’ page on the Apple Store to see my little Leopard box make its way to Galway… mmm… wonder will it be worth it?! (of course, it’s Apple!!)
